I’ve worked with Brighton countless of times in the past and I’m never disappointed. The team at Brighton are extremely reliable from the planning stage all the way up to the execution phase on the day of the wedding. You, Yesenia, Mayurin and the rest of the staff are the definition of great team work.
Mayurin(the venue manager) was extremely accommodating and helpful even with last minute requests. The service was amazing, the staff are always smiling and friendly and the food was delish – it left guests and their family members a day to forever remember.
Dianne and Marvin’s wedding was a success because your team diligently worked with ours to ensure that everything went smoothly throughout the night.
I will highly recommend Brighton to all my future clients because the service and the reliability has always been consistent!
You guys have been amazing and continue to be amazing and you deserve all the praise because you’ve built and trained wonderful employees that are well-versed in weddings and events.

Brighton Convention & Events Centre defines perfection with regards to banquet halls. My wife and I viewed 5 different halls prior to visiting Brighton, and were blown away when we left our first meeting. They exceed expectations on many levels. Our first meeting with the general manager Tannaz went extremely well. She was very inviting and not only made us feel at home but worked hard to accommodate our requests and demonstrate passion about our wedding. Rather than try to sell us, she tried to help us and showed care for our wedding. She was kind and informative and explained everything in detail to ensure we completely understood what we were getting.
Anytime we e-mailed Tannaz, she responded instantly! Now this is rare when it comes to most banquet halls. She treated her clients with respect and made sure she provided answers anytime we had questions in a time sensitive manner. If we had any issues, Tannaz went over and above to provide solutions. Tannaz made our wedding planning process a lot less stressful because she actually cared about our wedding and even though it’s her job, it felt like she was a part of our team. She was exceptional and a huge reason our wedding went as smoothly as it did. We can’t thank her enough.
Further, we had the opportunity to meet with Chef Carmelo who was extremely professional and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the menu and how the food tasted. When we gave him our feedback, he made changes and created the dish exactly how we wanted it. You couldn’t ask for anything better than that. All our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was. And not just one item, but our entire menu from the fish to the pasta. Chef Carmelo exceeded our expectations with the food and we are extremely thankful.
As everything was going extremely well prior to the wedding, Brighton continued to deliver exceptional service and care the night of our wedding. The floor manager Mayuran was exceptional during our wedding. He was always ensuring that everything was going according to plan from the décor, initial set up, food set up, to cake, to music, to everything. This guy was unbelievable! He was always in constant communication with us making sure we were happy and seeing whether we needed anything. His staff was on time with appetizers followed by dinner and dessert. You couldn’t have asked for a better manager that night. My wife and I had zero worries that night because we knew he was taking care of everything. Thank you for making our wedding special!

You were easy to talk to,flexible and understanding on minor issues which arise. You gave advice that would help us have the best day ever. The main entree and finger foods were delicious except for the (salmon and cream cheese roll) during the cocktail hour.
Nevertheless,that does not take away from all the positives of the day. The venue itself is a beauty on its own,the grand staircase and chandeliers are exquisite! The staff and management behind the event is what makes it what it is,the word to describe it would be GRAND! James and I will be more than happy to recommend The Brighton Event Centre. Our guest I am sure will do the same. As you may of heard our Limo was late by 2 hours in picking up the bridal party. We arrived when the ceremony should have ended Your assistant Yesenia was amazing she saw my tears and frustrations and she said “don’t worry about anything Lorna we will take care of everything” so she did! Thank you Yesenia for your kindness and compassionate heart you saw a need and you did what needed to be done. The incompetence of someone else almost ruined the most important day of our lives,your team was there to make our day what it was meant to be. Mayuran,you and your serving team did an extraordinary job. You served us timely and efficiently and most of all the smiles and polite mannerism were obvious. Our choice of Salmon and stuffed chicken with spinach and mushrooms with veggies and roasted potatoes were yummy! We have no regrets! You guided us and made us aware of a special package being offered to the end April, which we were very happy of and went with that.
When we left your office, we knew we had made the right decision in having the wedding reception there.
I made many phone calls and some visits to you, which were all received in a cheerful and very helpful manner.
Yesenia was very lovely and helpful, with our special request and notes, also having us store our three cake boxes, mirrors and wagon the afternoon before.
Samantha and Jose had a wonderful and lovely evening of food tasting. Mayuran (Junior) was absolutely amazing and very professional, he made notes and all were followed thru. The person serving that evening, was also very friendly and a delight as well.
Upon my entrance into the foyer, I just recall saying ” WOW”, everything was all set up so lovely for the cocktail hour. The servers were all absolutely amazing and the flow of the h’orderves and mocktails was fantastic and I have to say, they were all so good, many thanks for thisJ.
Samantha and Jose are still raving of the sweet table and her Portuguese tarts – absolutely wonderful.

The banquet manager was fantastic and quick to remedy any issues or answer any questions. He was the epitome of professionalism and a great pleasure to work with. Because of his efficiency and the amazingly attentive and hard working staff, our event was a great success.

The wedding was a great success! Thank you for all of your help in making it possible. Family and friends were very impressed with your venue.
Your staff was very attentive, making sure that all guests were well looked after. The cocktail hour had plenty of food and your staff circulated many times. For dinner, having bottled water, both plain and carbonated, was appreciated by guests who did not want wine. The food was wonderful, in fact Sabryna said it was actually better than at her tasting. Table #8 guest with food restrictions was very happy with the attention which she received from Suzanne and the food that the chef prepared for her. The vegetarian option was also delicious.
The manager Mark was very helpful making sure that the positioning of items was correct for the ceremony. He ensured that the ceremony chairs were quickly removed so guests had ample space to walk in.
Sabryna and her Matron of Honour both work for the Marriott Hotel chain. Due to the fabulous venue and wonderful attention we received, they have already recommended the Brighton to some of their clients. Talking with some of your prospective clients while I was setting things up on Friday, I definitely recommended your venue and that was before the wedding had taken place. If they have their event there, I am sure that they will be as equally pleased.

Despite us taking the larger hall, the tables and chairs were neatly arranged and did not feel empty or sparse. It was great that we could mix and match the premium linens to our liking as well.
Both Ahmed and I feel very satisfied and happy to have had our wedding at Grand Baccus. The ample parking was good and the hall is certainly very beautiful for special occasions. The bridal suite was very comfortable and the supplies provided in there came in very useful.
Overall, Ahmed and I, are truly happy with the service provided at Grand Baccus. The prompt responses and service received allowed us to successfully plan a wonderful wedding in less than a month. Our floor manager was fabulous. She was there in an instant when needed, and faded into the background when appropriate. She went above and beyond the call of duty with a simple fix when my dress bussel broke so that I could continue dancing. She took cues from us about the noise from the other hall. She was completely willing to do anything and everything to ensure that our day was stress free.
The office staff was amazing. They were never cross with us for calling several times to ask questions, or change things last minute. They were always reassuring that everything would run smoothly, and always had a smile on their faces to greet us.
The food at the wedding was great. Our guests were impressed with the meal.

Grand Baccus also put so much extra details into the service. Our event went smoothly due to the coordination of our floor manager Adrianna with our wedding party. She checked in with us to make sure things were going well. She also added extra touches to our sweet table. Everybody commented on the amount of food that we had at our wedding (it was a lot), and we had great reviews about it. We were able to do a fusion mix of chinese and western food – and Grand Baccus accomodated for all of our guests food preferences and allergies. Our guests also commented to us about the amazing service that they experienced at our event. We are so happy with the quality of service we received – not to mention that it is a beautiful venue. Note: from the previous post, my husband sang at our wedding, and he mentioned that the accoustics at Grand Baccus was actually quite good – we were also lucky that the big hall next to ours was empty at the time – I don’t know if that had an effect.
